Training on the job
At a certain point, young Barnaby also enters the phase of gaining initial experience as a junior work-life balancer.
Junior Work-Life-Balancer
After Barnaby has settled in well at our home, the next challenge awaits him. We take him to Ines’s office.
Lesson 1: All dogs must stay in the office room! The “baby fence” was put up again for safety.
Lesson 2: Everyone stays in their place! You can choose between the cozy dog box and an extra thick, cozy dog bed. We can’t decide, so we alternate regularly or both lie on the bed so we don’t miss anything.
Lesson 3: No barking. That’s really difficult for the junior. No idea why. I’m not really into barking. This can also be arranged differently. But he learns quickly. It will be okay.
Of course, the outdoor units are best. Most of the time we are unloaded at Don’s office in the morning. Then we walk relaxed along the “Weser-Promenade” to our office. At noon we have several options. Either we visit Don and try a few tricks in the “skater park”, or we walk in the other direction to the variety show. But we find it best, if we walk over the “Waller Welle”.
